Well, the new Copic colors have been released for 2012 and I have to say, I LOVE THEM!!!! As I added the new set to my growing Copic collection, I decided it was time to revamp how I tracked which colors I already own. I was able to find a chart I liked, but it didn't have the 2011 or 2012 colors. So, with a bit of remodeling of the chart, here you go. I hope it helps you track which Copic colors you own. It's designed for 8.5x11 paper, so you can add it to a three ring binder. I had a really cute book I had made, but found it just didn't meet my needs anymore as I want to be able to add and subtract pages (not that I'm ever willing to part with my collections... but in theory, I can subtract pages:-))

Having too much fun this weekend!

After completing my card orders, I wasn't quite ready to stop, so came up with these two designs.  I wanted to play with felt, so use the adorable tree and snowman die-cuts on the various color felts.  To give the appearance of swirling snow, I used the swirls impression plate on both the winter sky and onyx backgrounds.  The cherry bow gives it a splash of color.  I couldn't get both on to the same card, so then decided to add the tree to my previous reindeer card rather than a bow.  Looks adorable, but next time, I would stick with the sky colored snowflakes or reposition the eucalyptus snowflakes so it's more balanced.

Nordic Noel Christmas Card

Here's a Christmas card using the Nordic Noel set.  I love the reindeer and adding a small red gem for his nose.  I started the card knowing I wanted to use the Deckled Rectangles Large Nestabilities and the reindeer from the Nordic Noel set.  From there, I tried a couple of colors and finally settled on Cherry for the matt color.  A Cherry bow reminds me of Christmas.  For the background I used Sky  and Eucalyptus for the snowflake colors.  The larger snowflake came from the Nordic Noel set and the smaller snowflake came from the Christmas Joy set.  I hope you enjoy!

Stamp Sets: Nordic Noel and Christmas Joy
Ink Colors: French Roast, Cherry, Fern, Sky, and Eucalyptus
Paper Colors: Vanilla, Cherry
Nestabilities: Deckled Rectangles Large
Embellishments: small red gem

Winter Stag Christmas Card

I am having so much fun this weekend!  Here's design #2 for my Christmas card order.  Simple yet elegant.  For this card, I used the swirls impression plate as it reminded me of snow swirls on a winter night.  Then I embossed the pine tree using white embossing powder.  I was originally thinking of including the sentiment on the bottom, but then came up with the bow instead.   I had the French Roast ribbon in stock and thought that would be a nice addition.

Supplies:
Paper Colors: Vanilla, Winter Sky, Eucalyptus, French Roast
Ink: Versamark
Impression Plate: Swirls/Web
Ribbon: French Roast satin ribbon

Holiday Tags Christmas Card

The calendar may say November, but I'm busy working on an order for Christmas cards.  Here's the first design for the order.  This card was a lot of fun to design and uses several A Muse products and my favorite Copic markers.  It was my first time using the impression plate and I love the results.  It was also my first time using Le Pouf.  A fun variation for this card would be to cut out the gingerbread cookie and cut off one of the feet as if someone had taken a bite.

Paper colors: Eucalyptus and Winter Sky
Ink Color: Black
Impression Plate: Snowflake/Candy Cane
Copic Markers: Lapis Blue (B18), Cyanine Blue (B16), Chamois (E35), Carmine (R37)
Embellishments: Latte pearls, Frosted Lace Stickles,  Le Pouf
